How do I reset my password?

To receive a password reset, please contact the HR Helpdesk during office hours (10:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday) by calling telephone number 01656 305871. Please ensure that you have your memorable word at hand as we will not be able to proceed without it. Once you have been verified by a member of our staff, we will send an email to the address specified within your account with a link to reset your password.

Why do I need to upload a photograph?

If you are invited to interview, we will use the photograph to verify your identity against another form of mandatory photographic documentation (e.g. passport, drivers license).

Why can't I submit the application form?

Please ensure to check that all the mandatory fields have been completed (all mandatory fields are marked *). Once complete, please click the Save button. If all mandatory fields have been filled out correctly, the completion status of each section will change from a red cross to a green tick. The Submit button will become visible once every section displays a green tick.

How do I register for an account?

In order to register for an account, you must first ensure to click the following link:

You will then be presented with the below screen; at the bottom left hand side, please click the Register for an account button:

Once clicked, you will be presented with the below screen. Please refer to the Guidance notes situated at the right hand side of the page. These provide clear instruction on how to fill out the fields within the form:

Please ensure that your chosen password is at least 8 characters in length, contains at least one lower case letter, one upper case letter, one digit and one special character.

It is important that you keep your memorable word safe as we will use this to identify you if you need to contact us.

We will not have access to your security question once you have created your account. If you lose your password and have forgotten your security answer you'll need to call us with your memorable word.

Please ensure that you always have your memorable word at hand should you need to contact us as we will not be able to proceed without it. If you are unable to provide us with your memorable word, we will advise you to create a new account by specifying a different email address to the one you originally registered with.

Once you have correctly filled out the form, please click on the Create an account button at the bottom left hand side of the screen. You will then be presented with the following message offering instruction on how to activate your account:

Please log into your specified email account (i.e. the email address you used for creating the account). If the email doesn't appear within your Inbox, please ensure to check your Junk/Spam email folder. Please click the link within the email to activate your account:

Once clicked, you will be redirected to the Jobs homepage; please enter your username and password, then click the Sign In button located underneath.

You will then be presented with your Account & Applications screen below:

If you need to change your email address, password, security question and/or name, please click the relevant buttons within the My Profile section at the left hand side of the screen. To delete your account, click on the Delete Account button.

Towards the bottom left hand side of the screen, you'll notice a section for Internal Applicants. If you are already a member of the South Wales, Dyfed-Powys, Gwent or North Wales Police forces you can select your force from the dropdown list then please enter the first name, last name of your work email address here and click the Submit button. If you are not a member of the forces mentioned above, please leave this section blank:

How do I register to see internal vacancies?
